Use Magic Trackpad in Firefox With Pinchy

If you want to use your Magic Trackpad or your MacBook’s trackpad pinch to zoom feature in Firefox, there’s a simple way. Just go to the Tools> Add-Ons menu and when the page comes up enter Pinchy in the search bar at top right. Install it then uninstall it, and you’re done! No restart of Firefox is even required.

It’s a little clunkier than the smooth pinch to zoom in Safari, but it works well, and once you’ve gotten used to doing it, you’ll miss it whenever it’s not available. I was going to see how to do it in Chrome but honestly, I barely use Google Chrome anymore,p. it’s like Google gave up on the browser wars but forgot to announce that they packed up and went home.

More great tips and a Lion 10.7.2 super guide coming soon!
