“Playback Stops in 15 Frames” Premiere Pro CS5 Solution

If you have installed the demo of Prmeiere Pro CS5 and have found even after updating to 5.0.2 that when you hit play in the timeline all you get is about 15 frames of playback then it stops, there is an easy, but very hard to find fix for this in OS X. Simply do the following and also make sure you have a separate drive from your system disk for your content to live on and you’ll be up and playing in no time.
Solution
Do one of the following:
- Remove the Aggregate Devices plist file.
- Open the Finder and navigate to /YOUR_HD/Library/Preferences.
- Rename the com.apple.audio.AggregateDevices.plist file, or move it to the trash.
- Restart Soundbooth or Premiere Pro and retry.

Is this the same as a com.apple.audio.AudioMIDISetup.plist file? I’m having this problem, but don’t have the above stated file.
The file type is the same, the file itself is different. I know this works with the one we specified.
