Wow, this is some hardcore CG Nerdporn.
nVidia has been in a battle supreme against AMD (ATI of course) for years now, and the two have duked it out for desktop and mobile dominance since the 90′s. Via their company blog, Mark Priscaro sent us a head up that they are giving people a peek inside their Emulation Lab, which is a high-tech facility designed to trst all sorts of current and future graphics technologies. Such as the “Indus”, the World’s largest emulator, based on Cadence’s Palladium emulator technology, pictured above.

By the way you Mac fans out there who do 3D or lots of 2D compositing and video, if you’ve never used a Quadro before, you’ll understand when you do why they cost so much and why you probably should have a Mac Pro instaed of that new iMac if you’re pushing serious polygons. We’re working on getting one in for review, so we’ll let you know when we hear anything.
