New iPhone aka iPhone 5,1 Rumor – Fall 2012 with LTE and?

Found via the site iMore we can’t substantiate any of this, but it goes along with what we have heard from reliable sources

which is why we’re posting this. 4G/LTE on the next iPhone is a given, and the info about the slightly larger screen seems to be about hedging bets more than anything really reliable. One thng is that they will have to maintain a certain resolution doubling paradigm if they want to make sure not to drive app developers crazy. That means the new iPhone likely would have a 1920X1280 pixel Retina Display screen, which would be just stunning we’re sure.

One item we don’t buy is the part about replacing the 30 pin dock connector . They say it’s set to receive a micro-dock to replace the traditional standard 30-pin dock connector. This will free up some space for additional parts that will be featured in the new iPhone. If his is true it will be a major departure from a decade old connector, will cause all sorts of issues, and will mean the eventual death of the 30 pin dock connector for future iDevices. I can’t say I would miss it, but we find this unlikely.

More to come as we hear things and can at least semi-validate them.
