We know what we like, and we like things with taste, class, power, and a solid design sensibility. Whether you’re talking about food, cars, or computers, understanding quality in this day and age means that you’re not always targeting “the masses.”

We love Apple products, and though they’re far from perfect, we believe they set the standard by which we measure technology in general. From desktops to mobile devices, Apple to us is more about the software than the hardware, even though the two go together, and the core of Apple’s profit is tied to hardware. Many companies make compelling, quality products for Apple based creatives, and sometimes solutions from other companies may be a better fit for your tastes and/or budgets. By focusing on creative professionals that are primarily Apple desktop, laptop, and mobile users, we feel that there is an expectation of quality, and a willingness to seek ‘best in class” products, software, and services that cuts through the sea of offerings and allows the best to rise to the top. A better tablet than the iPad? We’re looking. Better display choices? For your needs it may not be Apple’s solution. Better software for creatives? Can you say Photoshop? Apple is the base, not the be-all-end-all.

Even more importantly, we absolutely love the creative and unique subculture and community that comes from the people who use and work with Apple tools and technology, and find a level of sophistication and maturity in the creative space that is not as pronounced or mature as it is with other platforms. We also feel that focusing only on Apple products and software would do our audience a disservice, and make it out mission to bring to attention all the products and services we feel would be valuable to creative people, no matter what company offers it.

Based in Charleston, West Virginia with our heart in San Francisco, we’re techies in exile, for the time being. Thanks to a new invention created this year called the Internet, we have decided to spread out expert advice, opinions, tutorials, and more to the world at large. Using news and information, original editorial, and informative content for creative professionals with a passion for Apple related info, we are poised to grow and expand our coverage dramatically in the coming months.

Advertisers whose products we believe in can target Apple based creative pros in specific ways, and we’re working on some packages that will enable a few companies to achieve maximum ROI for their ad dollars while targeting a specific niche, creators over consumers.
