The new reVOLT h2 and c2 dual 2.1A USB chargers pack enough power to refuel two power hungry tablets simultaneously at home or on the go. The reVOLT c2 is the first and only shotgun shell sized car charger to fit two 2.1A USB ports into such a compact form factor.

The 2.1A reCOIL II car charger with a retractable 30 pin cable allows users to neatly charge an iPod, iPhone or iPad. The 3 foot long, magnetically locking cable eliminates unsightly cable clutter when not in use. Scosche will also unveil the newest generation of the ever popular reviveLITE docking charger and LED nightlight for iPod and iPhone. The reviveLITE III features a side 2.1A USB port for charging an iPad or additional device.
I really like the two USB port feature. Read the full release and more on other new Scosche products from CES 2012 after the jump.
While light on the Mac side of things, Turtle Beach has long been known in the Windows world as a purveyor of high quality digital audio gear for decades now. Not to be left out of the profitable (and often star branded) headphone space, Turtle Beach announced two new WiFi Dolby enabled gaming headsets at CES today.
The XP400 and XP300 feature 2.4/5GHz dual-band Wi-Fi technology that avoids the crowded wavelengths of most wireless home devices to virtually eliminate all wireless interference while gaming. The XP400 features the dual pairing Bluetooth technology allowing for true wireless chat for Xbox 360 owners, and both the XP300 and XP400 feature rechargeable batteries, adjustable EQ settings and more.
Detailed specs and pricing after the jump.
Anyone who owns a Mac these days probably owns an iPad and/or an iPhone too. At least that’s a bet I would take in the positive. Here at the WholeApple offices we have more iPads and iPhones (bot oddly not on iPod Touch in sight!) than we can shake an Android tablet at (we have and like those too). In my house there are four iPads, and three iPhones alone. So you can imagine my delighted shock and awe when I saw the latest product from Kanex which looks like….

This. Oh yea.

Are you exhibiting at the CES show next week? If so, you really should check out this awesome deal we have to use, that’s right, Use US as a human billboard! For a limited amount of slots, we are offering 30 seconds of video, animation, or whatever else you’d like to display on our body!
CES charges thousands of dollars for signs that just sit there, off to the side, and do nothing. In a show like this, where everything is a screen, stuff and people are constantly in motion, this is a great way to get noticed and separate yourself from the rest of the exhibitors.
It’s not that I always hated Flash totally, but I did mostly. Back in the Halcyon days of the dot-com bubble it was cool, hip, a look at the “future” of interactive web content, and there was nothing else like it. It was also, even then, buggy, crash prone, a resource hog, and authoring as well as end-user updates were a pain. Not much has changed, but now Adobe has announced the end of Flash altogether by announcing the end of mobile Flash development.
I say don’t let the digital door hit you on the overweight, bloated ass on your way out Flash. No offense to Adobe, but good riddance.
Sphero Robotic Ball – iOS and Android Controlled Gaming System
The smartphone-controlled Sphero combines two time tested holiday favorites: the ball and the remote-control car. The three-inch orb rolls with consistent speed (about three feet per second) in any direction as a pair of motorized wheels in the ball push it forward or backward. When the user of the iDevice (or even an Android!) signals a change in direction, the wheels rotate around an axis to shift course. Sphero communicates via Bluetooth with several iOS and Android apps, including a driving game and virtual golf. In development: freeze-tag and other multiplayer games for Sphero-on-Sphero combat.
You’d think that the more resources, money, and people one has to throw at a problem, the better the solution would be, but that’s just not always true. Because once a group, organization or other business gets too big, things start being done by committee. The maxim of trying to make everyone happy ultimately makes no one happy, at least almost no one. Just look at Microsoft Windows for a perfect example of what I mean.

This has to be one of the coolest apps out on the iPad, and it even works reasonably well on an iPad 1. I love the guitar, the keyboards and drums are great too, and I have had countless hours of fun just noodling around with it as my brain turns to less…. strenuous things at night while I am chilling on the couch with my wife. So what’s new? I will pause for a moment as the upgrade is almost done downloading and I will let you know….
